Gigantic Roar

Gigantic Roar blends psychedelic rock, funk rock, and garage punk. Formed in 2012, they quickly gained attention, performing at festivals like Formoz and Megaport. Their debut EP ”Climbing Up the Birdy Tower“ (2014) was nominated for Best Live Performance at the Golden Indie Music Awards, while their second album “Ain't Got Nothing But Time, Son” (2016) earned a nomination for Best Rock Album at the Golden Melody Awards. Later that year, the band announced a hiatus. Post-hiatus, members remained active: vocalist Leo Wang became an acclaimed rapper and Golden Melody winner, while drummer Tang Huang joined Shallow Levée, earning multiple Golden Indie nominations.

ABAO ft. NANGUAQ

Phum Viphurit is a singer/song-writer based in Bangkok, Thailand. His musical style can be described as a mixture of cultures and colours, portrayed in a mellow, up-beat yet intimate combination. His first LP, "Manchild" (2017) included 'Long Gone' which would launch the beginning of his international career. This was followed by the EP, "Bangkok Balter Club" (2019) which included 'Lover Boy', a track that has since gained over 100 million streams on Spotify and Youtube combined. Phum and his travelling bandmates have toured Asia, North America and Europe, playing live houses and halls to festivals such as Summer Sonic (Japan), Tropicália (USA), Westward Music Festival (Canada) and many more.

Pei-Yu Hung

Pei-Yu Hung is an artist born and raised in Kaohsiung and is currently based in Taipei. Pei-Yu has been pursuing a “Body-Based Performer” approach in recent years. Through various forms of body expression, including dance, voice, theater, and diverse collaborations, she continuously strives to expand the possibilities and definition of performance. She collaborates with different indie musicians and art groups, accumulating knowledge and experience in the performing arts. Additionally, she participates in ad songs, OSTs, and musicals, showcasing her active presence in various cross-disciplinary performance domains. In 2022, Pei-Yu released her debut album, Silver Lining. Through ten music pieces that deeply resonate with Pei-Yu, from the light and dark aspects of the self, the slices of life, and the reflection of subtle emotions, the album was up for eight major category nominations at the 34th Golden Melody Awards and won the Best New Artist Award.

Rhydian Vaughan

Rhydian Vaughan‘s music is rooted in alternative rock, and seamlessly blends elements of grunge, post-punk, synth rock, and industrial rock, with a distinctive alternative rock style infused with strong Asian influences. Even with a high interest in music, at that time, Rhydian did not intend to pursue it as a career. Instead, he chose to study drama in university. Rhydian expressed, "Music brings me the greatest joy! It's more like a lifestyle rather than aiming for specific achievements.” After evaluating the music environment at the time, the perfectionist Rhydian felt he wasn't fully prepared, so he decided to keep that thought on hold. "Actually, music and acting are similar. Both require imagination to create scenes, and there's a structure to express inner feelings," he explained. Having honed his skills in theater for years, he had already mastered using his body as an instrument. Returning to his roots in music was simply adding another medium. With a confident attitude, he launched his debut album "Seven.”

The Loophole

The Loophole is composed of YB Wang, Hung Chen, OLer, Jerry Li, and Max Jian. "露波" is phonetically translated from English "Loophole" , "we want to create small loopholes through music to allow people to peek into the world we see.“ Their debut album “Isn’t It Annoying?" was released in 2021, blends classical-tinged psychedelic rock, punk, jazz, and soul, showcasing a sincere and intuitive style. Their second album "Beautiful World" was released in 2023. The album reflects the inner worlds of the members, not just expressing emotions but also encompassing a serene mindset after experiencing the disparity between reality and ideals. In 2023, they won “Best Band” and “Best Rock Song” at the 14th Golden Indie Music Awards and they were also nominated for Best Band at the 35th Golden Melody Awards in 2024.

OHHYUK (KR) (DJ)

OHHYUK is the lead singer and main songwriter of the 2014 debut band HYUKOH. Their album “Through Love” was highly appreciated by the public and critics for its wide range of genre digestibility, refined performance techniques, and unique and excellent taste. In 2024, OHHYUK teamed up the project collective “AAA” with the band Sunset Rollercoaster, releasing an album of the same name and touring in Asia. In addition to his band activities, as a solo musician, OHHYUK has released single albums with CIFIKA, IU, Sogumm, Peggy Gou, yaeji, and has been involved in a wide range of musical endeavors.

ABAO ft. NANGUAQ

Abao was born in a Paiwan family in southeastern Taiwan.The main goal of her role is to promote the indigenous culture and explore all the different forms of the indigenous art. In 2016, Abao successfully turned herself from a Chinese mandarin pop singer into a indigenous R&B singer. Every song of her first indigenous R&B album [Vavayan] , released in 2016, are all in Paiwan language. This album also brought great success to both indigenous and non-indigenous communities.

DJ MR. GIN (DJ)

DJ MR.GIN, aka JIN ZONG (real name Lin Zi-Wei), was a member of the pioneering hip-hop group E.A.C (Eastern Assassin Crew) and helped establish the hip-hop scene in Tainan alongside artists like Dwagie. He is considered an OG in Taiwan’s hip-hop community. Starting in 2009, he gained recognition in DJ competitions such as DMC, where his DJ crew, A.K.G, won the group championship. They represented Taiwan in the 2010 World Championship in the UK and secured fifth place, bringing international recognition to Taiwanese DJs. Following this success, he became the go-to DJ for top Taiwanese hip-hop artists like MC HotDog, Soft Lipa, G.U.T.S, Leo Wang, and ØZI, and has long been active on global stages while maintaining a sharp sense of musical trends and taste. In 2022, he released his debut solo album, a full Taiwanese-language record titled KEH, which was nominated for “Best Taiwanese Album” at the 34th Golden Melody Awards.

Non-Confined Space

Non-Confined Space is an improvisational electronic ensemble founded in 2014 by guitarist/electronic artist/Live Visual artist Sonic Deadhorse and wind instrument player Minyen Hsieh. Instead of relying on the typical jazz method of body and muscle memory, they use real-time sampling and re-sequencing, allowing sounds and musical phrases to interact, distort, or even ignore each other. Audiences must experience their work live, where the sound and space combine to create distinct experiences for each listener.

Iruka Porisu

"Iruka Porisu” is from Taipei and formed in 2017, the name of the band is referred to a character from a well-known Japanese anime ”Kochikame (こちら葛飾区亀有公園前派出所)”. The character is enthusiastic and justice with a tough exterior, but still has a weak and vulnerable inner side. The traits are exactly like the band members in their daily lifetime. The first album "Call me when Night go blue" created the band image and concept from hero cartoons to shape the members into unique characters. It was nominated for Best Band at the 31st Golden Melody Award. The second album "Bad News Punched!" released in September 2022, shared their experience and inspiration through exploring the human world.

Gummy B is a rapper, arranger and music producer. In March 2022, he released his debut mixtape album "ANTAI". In June, he joined NIGHT ONLY, and released the single "LOVE MYSELF". In 2023, after the second season of "MTV The Rappers'' aired, he became a standout contestant and eventually won the second place. Lujiachi (DJ)

In 2022, Lujiachi released the EP “Mantis” under the Taiwanese label OverMyBody, which is grounded in techno and industrial aesthetics, featuring powerful percussion sounds that almost exclude melody, embodying his musical style. He also contributed to the “FINAL Taipei Compilation” under Tzusing's label Sea Cucumber, and in 2024, he co-released the album “Apex Union” with Argentine producer Bungalovv, exploring further digital sound modulation. Lujiachi continues to merge unique electronic sounds in his live performances and works, blending elements from metal, IDM, and Taiwanese dance music. He has performed in various venues in Taiwan and has been invited to play music festivals such as Amsterdam Dance Event and eel Festival.

Sorry Youth

Sorry Youth as a power trio was formed by guitarist Weni, bassist Giang Giang, and drummer Chung-Han. Taiwanese lyrics are an essential base of their songwriting as well as a hallmark of Sorry Youth, and the song arrangements capture a strong sense of live performance. Each artist in this ensemble expresses a different artistic identity and energy, as well as a wide range of versatility. From their debut mixtape “Balming Tiger vol.1: 虎媄304”, to their latest EP “Greatest Hits”, Balming Tiger takes advantage of the opportunities provided by the internet, and uses it as a platform for music distribution. They choose to approach music from a versatile standpoint rather than one recurring genre.

Dj Jerry (DJ)

DJ Jerry‘s career as a music producer spans roles at Warner Music and Universal Music, where he collaborated with Nine Inch Nails’ producer John Freyer and worked on music in Madonna’s recording studio. He was invited to produce music for Japan’s NHK television, the film Shonen Aala, and the World Games, where he also performed at the opening ceremony. His music has been played during the NBA halftime show and at Dodger Stadium, as well as featured on prominent U.S. radio stations like Power 105.9 in Los Angeles. Mainly produces music scores of fiction films and documentaries and has also worked on scores of shorts, commercials, dance performances, light installations and VR; and has tried to collaborate and exchange ideas with artists from various fields. He is exploring abstract electronic tones and experimental and ambient music creation – sailing through reality and imagination, existence and dreams, the way it is to view our life.

Alex Zhang Hungtai

Zhang is a multi-disciplinary artist focused on improvisation and its correlation with the unconscious. After retiring his project Dirty Beaches, Zhang has been focusing on explorations of improvised music, free jazz, and his role as a composer. His newer compositions predominantly work with saxophone and drums, delving into electronic music. Besides his solo work, some past collaborators include : Tashi Dorji, Che Chen, Chris Williams, Sam Shalabi, David Maranha, and Gabriel Ferrandini. Zhang currently works as a composer for film soundtracks, along with acting in independent films. He has appeared in David Lynch’s Twin Peaks: The Return alongside Dean Hurley and Riley Lynch under the fictitious band Trouble. His latest film score “Godland” by Hlynur Pálmason was in competition at Cannes Film Festival’s Un Certain Regard. He currently lives in New York City.
